Step-by-step instructions:

• If you are opening Thunderbird for the first time, the account wizard will initialize automatically. Otherwise, select "Tools / Account Settings" and click "Add Account..."
• Select "Email account" and click "Next"
• Type in "Your Name" as you would like it to appear on your emails. Type in your "Email Address" as it appears on the account you created.
• The next page is the Server Information page. Select "IMAP" server using the button selector. The "incoming server" and "outgoing server" are both w2a.bigimap.com. Click "Next"
• Your "Incoming User Name" should be username@domain.com, for instance sarahuser@bigimap.com. Click "Next"
• Verify that your information has been entered correctly on the next screen and click "Finish"
• If this is the first time you are using Thunderbird, the next screen will ask if you would like to use Thunderbird as your default email application. Select "yes" or "no"
• Type in your password and select, "Use Password Manager to remember this password" if you wish, and then click "OK"
• This should return you to your inbox, and the account should connect to the bigimap.com server. You can test your account by sending an email to your own address, and selecting "send/receive." The first time you send an email, you may be asked to re-enter your password. Simply use the same password you entered before.
