Big IMAP offers several email services based on storage capacity. Accounts are billed a Monthly flat fee (no other charges), and can be canceled or upgraded at any time.

Standard Features
The following set of features come standard with every Big IMAP account:

| WebMail Access | Access your mail from any web browser. By default, web access is SSL encrypted. |
| IMAP Access | Access your mail from any IMAP-compliant mail client. |
| SSL IMAP Access | We support (and encourage) encrypted IMAP access. |
| IMAP IDLE support | We support the IMAP IDLE command, so that your client(s) can maintain a persistent connection to our servers, and be notified real-time when a new message has arrived. This alleviates the need to do frequent polling. |
| Domain Choice | You can choose from one of the domains that we provide, or you can use your own domain(s). Big IMAP will register and configure 1 domain for each paid user at no additional charge. |
| Aliases | You can easily, through the web interface, create multiple aliases for your account. Aliases need not all be from the same domain. Incoming mail can also be filtered based on alias. |
| +Aliases | A '+' followed by arbitrary characters can be appended to any alias to instantly create an email address. examples: john+pretzel@domain.com, john+amazon9@domain.com |
| SPAM Filtering | Users can optionally turn spam filtering on for their account. Once enabled, users can filter messages flagged as spam to arbitrary folders, or to trash. more on filters |
| Server Side Filters | Filter rules can be set via a web interface, which are run on the server when new messages arrive. In addition to moving messages to a specific folders, the filters can forward to other addresses, or send a vacation reply. more on filters |
| SMTP AUTH & TLS | Users are given an address for outgoing SMTP that uses authentication & TLS. We also allow outgoing SMTP on a high port (2525) for ISP's that block port 25. |
| Off-site Backups | All servers are redundant and RAID based. In addition, backups are made daily and taken offsite. |
